An excerpt from Saved By the Wolf (A Werewolf’s Curse #2)

She was naked just down the hall.

Don’t think about it.

Yeah. Like that was going to happen. His body was achingly hard for her. At least he was wearing denim. Without it, his erection would be even more obvious.

When the bathroom door clicked open, he tensed but continued to hunt for something suitable to feed her.

A few minutes later, she entered the kitchen. She waited at the threshold until he looked up.

She was a vision of beauty. Her skin was pink from the hot water, her long hair hung in thick wet cords over her shoulders, and her scent, accentuated by the heat of the shower, was intoxicating.

Unencumbered by the perfumed chaos of her usual bathing products, she smelled of apples and honey. He wanted to nuzzle her neck and lick the soft skin there to find out if she would taste as sweet.

She’d tied the hem of his large T-shirt into a knot, which pulled the material taut over the full mounds of her breasts. He couldn’t help but stare. She hadn’t put her bra back on. His shirt was rubbing against her luscious curves without a barrier. Her nipples stuck up through the light fabric. Could he really see the dark shadow of her areolas through the white cotton or was his imagination taunting him? His mouth watered.

Had she skipped her underwear too? His gaze traveled down her body to where his sweat pants hugged the swell of her hips. He didn’t see a panty line.

The need to touch her propelled him forward. His control was as threadbare as the damned T-shirt. He couldn’t hold back his wolf, who’d been prowling around in his head since they’d walked into the house.

He stalked her as she retreated, until her back hit the wall.

“Jacob?”
